Repentance?
"In the Bible the word METANOIA is interpreted as repentance, which is from Latin and means "to feel sorry".
But in the original Greek, the meaning of the word META means "to go beyond, or rise above". NOIA means "change of mind".
Hence, in the original Greek text in the Bible, METANOIA means a CHANGE IN BEING, A CHANGE OF MIND and a transcendence to a higher order of life and intelligence." Dr. Kenneth Walker
