MEETING WITH REMARKABLE PEOPLE 2
The moment I met her, some weird feeling possessed me, it was as though I knew her so well, or as if we were closely related in the past life, it was very odd. She said hi, and took a seat in front of us, and I moved to a seat where she would be able to talk with us easily, she then turned her head and smiled at me, then her face suddenly changed into a surprised one, she said, “ do I know you? Have we met before?” and I just smiled back and said “ no, but it’s a pleasure meeting you.”
She started talking and we all listened, even the driver seemed consumed in listening with us. She was talking in a simple manner, introducing different subjects to us, most of I already heard of a read about before, and maybe experienced myself. I was just about to tell her to get more into depth since I already have a background, when she started to tell stories, with a moral or a strong concept behind them….It was soon that I realized that there was a strong resonance between us, I needn’t talk, she already understood….She talks and tells stories…
And we are just listening in admiration, yet what I really liked about the whole thing is how simple a lady she is, just a simple Egyptian lady.We got there and we headed to the museum where his statue stood stable and welcoming, she stood infront of the first statue she met, and started to talk about the big feet that were standing alone inside the glass box, she talked and talked and soon she started elaborating, then she suddenly stops, and says “I don’t know where im getting all of this from, it’s the first time I say all of that, and the first time I hear it!” The woman beside her, her close friend and student smiles at her and says” This is because we are standing right behind his statue, his statue is on the other side of the wall, his energy is very strong its processing you.”
She continues walking around the museum explaining different things, obviously she wasn’t speaking off a text book, it was obviously all from the source, she was trying to read as much as possible…she looked too distorted sometimes when she concentrated on something in particular, but she would soon walk away and start talking and elaborating.
She then approached his statue, and said “ Al salamu Alaykum wa rahmat allah wa barakato” and then her voice lowered, she was obviously murmuring verses from the Quran, and she stood so straight in front of him, it was as though she was speaking to her old father, or her son maybe. She walked away, and the other lady walked in and approached the statue and did the same.
To my surprise this statue was too small, and supposedly the only one ever found for him, it was big as a hand!
We continued our tour silently sometimes, she would say “Silence can reveal more than words if you just listen.”
We took the bus again until we reached the complex, there she took us to the special power spots where we stood there each for a while to charge up….It felt so true, so vivid, so vibrant and balancing, something no words can explain only experience can.
We walked in the long corridor surrounded by columns that resembled allot the Corinthian columns of Rome and Greece. While we were crossing this corridor or hall of columns I felt so tortured and suffocated for some odd reason, I think I was the only one feeling that way, or at least the only one who expressed it out loud. She told me yes” this is Al Sirat Al Mustakeem, or the straight path, a concept in islam which existed even in the ancient Egyptian belief, “ It is the border line, it is the boundary you are walking on.” She continued. I answer “But I am not feeling good here, I feel like I wasn’t to run quickly here not walk.” She smiles and says “yes , yes.”
We reach the open court, we take the stairs up to view both sites on the right and left, then we take the stairs down again, we walk all the way across the open court, until we get to the school.
We find her waiting for us there, we walk around for a while to take a look, and experience the silence.
She starts explain a bit about the place then she asks us to join her in a session for meditation, where we meditate and charge up.
I join this meditation, im looking for signs, the clouds come suddenly covering the sun, and a cool breeze soon turns into what seemed like a windy blow, fair enough…I smile and go on in my meditation, im experiencing the nothingness and the oneness.
When we are done, she leads us to the spiritual staircase, one that I have never seen before, she tells us this is where he taught his students how to elevate the energy inside them, to move in between chakras, to develop. The other lady her friend demonstrates to us the techniques, it seemed like she was very much experienced too, she rose up the stairs, as though she was flying, I was charging myself up in where I thought was another power spot, at an imaginary door I found on the wall.
It was then my turn, I took the first few steps one by one with a few minutes separating each step, I’m not feeling the strong energy at first, and then gradually its kicking in, I’m feeling the flow, and the rising.
I get to the peak, where I feel so driven by the energy its pushing me forward so hard, I lean on the surrounding stone.
My other friend’s turn comes, he rises up slowly and carefully he gets to the peak and bows on the ground.
We make a few visits to other surrounding locations after that, and then we head home.
During our way back, my doubts turn out to be correct, she is a cancer survivor, just as I felt deep down, it turns out we know some people in common, and that she is also a macrobiotic follower.
My friend and I decide we want to pay “AL Sultan Hassan” a visit, so we leave them in the middle of the way to visit the place.
We reach the place, make our noon prayers and enjoy a peaceful time, not much tourists which made the place feel so heavenly and calm.
We decide to leave to make a few things….
It was just a busy and charged day, an amazing experience and amazing people to know….God bless.
the concept of the straight path is also in Buddhism...its called the middle path. where u imagine yourself walking through life with 2 elastic bands on each side. if you stray from the middle path you'll find your self bouncing off one side of the elastic band to the other unstable and distraught. hence we realize that its best if we travel the straight line...straight through..temptations aside and balance at heart.
ReplyDeleteplease if its not much trouble can u inform us how to contact this person or sign up for this tour? thanks for sharing the experience..inspiring!
Hhe name is Rawia Al Sabahy, she will be more than happy to arrange something like this again, but she is just taking it slowly now for the time being for health reasons, she is a healer too, so she absorbes all the negative energy off people, it can be very exhausting sometimes to her, she goes there to recharge too.
ReplyDeleteI will try to arrange something soon with her and inform you...
