Mom drops me at 3arab on her way to work and I take a microbus to El Ta7reer (1.25 LE). A lot of CS and normal people going to work. I text AF and he says the protests are going to start from El Sa3a square in Madinet Nasr and then head to Tahreer. He tells me to get away from Tahreer square, since many arrests were happening.
I decide to take a cup of coffee with Yassmeen to wait
. Mo7’bereen  everywhere. I wait for 20 minutes for Yassmeen. She finally arrives and says her parents wouldn’t let her out at first but they agreed as long as she stays away from the demonstrations. We go to Groppi. Three mo7’bereen sitting at the table in front of us watching the news. We get some meringues and headed back to the dorms, where they had been angry with Yassmeen for not telling them she was going out. She tells me a stray tear gas bomb was shot in front of the dorms the day before. I wander the streets of downtown where there was a lot of security, hardly any protests at all. I buy a couple of sandwiches from a7’er sa3a, and the protests begin at the journalists’ syndicate and there’s heavy beating. My mom calls me and I go home by metro. Mom comes home from work. May travels to Luxor and mom and I take a cab to downtown. Sanaa, Shorouk’s friend, calls to tell us not to come; there a lot of baltageyas everywhere attacking people with white weapons. We head home. I learn that there many attacks and arrests and that Talaat Harb was covered in blood. The batlageyas were hired.
May is at the hairdresser's.
Ma calls Mr. Hany, who tells her that he saw me yesterday and is very happy he did.
I'm fixed in front of the TV. Facebook and Twitter are blocked. Ahmed Fouda introduces me to proxy.
I wish he hadn't.

NOW IS THE TIME. NOW IS THE PLACE.
