A BLESSING IN DISGUISE...
Speaking of silence.
Silence is the hundredth attribute of god, after the 99 attributes and names god chose for himself...
The hundredth attribute, is not a word, and cannot be expressed in words, it can only be pointed out to, just like silence.
Silence cannot be expressed in words, for it is the opposite of words, if words are a form of energy incarnated in a vibrational sense to create sound, silence is the absence of this form, the opposite.
Words: are a unit of language, consisting of one or more spoken sounds or their written representation, that functions as a principal carrier of meaning. Hence a word only carries a meaning, it is not the meaning in itself, for the meaning lies in the action and the experience.
If we have one mouth to talk with, we have two ears to listen with...This balance, this natural and universal balance, is a call and a message to all those expecting words to fix situations, words are merely words.
Only silence can fairly serve the truth.
When I explain to my son, what the sun is, I can only explain what I think it looks like, according to what my eyes see, I can tell him what it feels like to stand under the sun, the heat, the light...But as long as I am doing that, while he is seated in a dark room, never being able to experience the reality and the truth of what the sun really is, then he will never truly understand.
He will live to know about the sun, what I told him, he will be living a lie, and believing it is a reality.
What if what I have known about the sun for my entire life, and what I have been explaining to my son, I have also received from my father and my father from his father, and so on?
We will all end up living this big fabricated lie, thinking we know the truth because we have been told the truth, yet we all now know that the truth cannot be expressed in words, it could only be lived.
Sometimes I wonder if being deaf or mute is a BLESSING IN DISGUISE...

ReplyDeletewe are all, or those of us who no better, on a quest to find our truth..our scared city..scantuary within or divine existence. it is something you cant be tought. a quest you have to take on your own for the treasure lies in the joureny, in the experience. i've read a story once about "siddhartha" who on his joureny to find his true self went to see buddha and instead of becoming one of his followers receiving his teachings he choose to leave the enlightened one to find enlightenment on his own. and shouldnt we all?!
