For-give...
To forgive is to give, and by giving you are gaining.
Its all energy, forgiving is a big word that carries huge meanings, when you forgive someone, you are not letting go of a certain event that carries negative energy, instead, you are charging positive energy that neutralizes the negativity and reflects back to you, hence you gain.
Let us all learn from this verse:
Colossians 3:13
"Bear with each other and forgive
whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you."
So as you can read above, you forgive just like you were forgiven by the creator.
See, the creator does not forget what you do, so to forgive is not to forget, but it is to change the event from a negative one to a positive one.
But then a again how do we forgive when its almost to hard to do it?
Again, if the concept of forgiving is understood, forgiving should not be hard, but on the contrary, should be easy, because its a decision you make for your own good, its an act of gaining and not losing, when you forgive you become strong, so why not?
Sometimes forgiving is hard because its related to an event or an incident that most probably left a scar, a deep one sometimes, so how can i heal the scar?? by forgiving. See, how do you turn off a fire? you add water, how do you fix a broken bone? you put it back the way it was and naturally it will heal, and so on.
So basically if you start focusing on undoing the side effects and not the event because whats done is done, you can only heal it, but it will remain something that happened at some point in your life, you will still remember it even vaguely but it did happen. When you forgive, is when you decide to heal the scare, and move on, is when you decide to draw positive energy to where your scar is in order to neutralize the area, or even add more positivity to it....sometimes it takes time, sometimes the scar is to deep, so it takes more time, so the sooner you decide to forgive the better for you first, and then the other.
Matthew 18:21-22
"Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?" Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times."
Yes, let it take as long as it takes, but do it, draw positivity for you your own good, love yourself, and heal your wounds...
